The Westchester Italian Cultural Center, whose entryway is graced by four pillars and the American and Italian flags, encompasses three stories and 25,000 square feet. The Center is housed in the stately, tan brick Generoso Pope Foundation building, built in 1911 and formerly Tuckahoe's Village Hall. The Foundation bought the site in 2003 and spent the last three years carefully restoring the building. While upgraded to be state-of-the-art technologically, the architectural integrity of the historic building was wonderfully preserved and it remains a community landmark.
